NWR.....My lunch today

Okay so I work in the city and there is this deli across the street called BLUE FLOWERS. i go in there to get breakfast sometimes and to get lunch.
Today I was feeling turkey, lettuce, bacon and cheese in a wrap. Go there....... pay 7 bucks for it.
Come back to my office and take a few bites. I picked it up to take another one and I look down and see a friggin ROACH in the wrap. Im like no way, im seeing things....open the wrap and the sucker is WALKING....IT WAS ALIVE.
So of course i took the sandwich back to the deli and said here there is a roach in my food and I want my money back now. There were people standing in like to pay for their lunch.
I got my money back.
Who can I wirte a letter to? The Health Department or soemthing like that? Im so grossed out.
I even thrw up (TMI....sorry ladies).

You shoudl call 311 and report there asses! Thats just disgusting

yes, report them!!! i don't know exactly who to call...but that is just beyond excusable...i worked in catering and the salad mix would get a spider here and there...but never ever was there anything beyond that.

Maybe you should start bringing your lunch to work....

I can relate there were roaches in the spoon, knife and fork draw here at work not 1 not 2 but three crawling around...

oh that is so nasty! that means is was actually crawling around in the food !
I can understand that it is hard to get keep roaches away totally, but for it to be in the food - ugh!!
I would call the dept. of health and maybe one of the news stations! oh thats so gross

can you take a pic or bring the sandwich to the place and complain??? maybe free breakfasts for a year ? haha
