Wedding on a cruise ship?
We have been asked about this service a few times and thought we might post some info on it. Some of the cruise lines will allow a small wedding party on board the ships while at the pier here in NY city. Although this is wildly popular in Florida not too many brides are aware of it up here. Usually this service is only available to couples who plan on traveling with the ship. The weddings on a Celebrity ship run along the following shcedule 11am all aboard usually from 8 to 100 persons. 12:30 wedding is performed followed by a reception then all non-passengers are disembarked. Usually the ship sets sail about 5 pm and this is done in the traditional bon voyage manner. To see the Celebrity Zenith and Horizon ships which offer this service please take a look at our website http://www.cruiseone.com/ddorr and look at the 360 degree tours. These two ships as well as others offer this service from April until late October and sail to Bermuda.
