Thank you LIW girls and RON!

After a stressing week & posting for help here & a lot of long talks between my FH & I....we decided we are no longer having a destination wedding. My FH has been extremely calm and keeping me from stressing tons too!

We could never afford a big wedding and we have a TINY family. So when some of them and closest friends could not make it to mexico, we realized we want to have them see us get married. So now we are doing the catholic ceremony and a small reception here.

Now to find vendors on a budget and on short notice is our next task.

I want to thank RON for his suggetsions! And everyone here who has offered their support and helpful tips!

we had the same situation...we were going to do a destination wedding but after we had a lot of family telling us they wouldn't be able to come for one reason or another we decided to keep it here and just do it on a much smaller scale...if you need any help let me know! and congrats and good luck!!!

Hang in there! I have a very small wedding with a planning of 7 months.

You will be fine! You can always post for questions. Plenty of us have a smaller scale wedding.

It's actually nice to see people going back to simpler weddings. We love the reception location and I believe things happen for a reason and will work out for the best. At least fingers crossing!
In the end it will be special!
