Random Questions
1) Who holds onto the wedding bands? Does the Best Man hold onto both, or does the MOH hold onto the groom's?2) What happens if you forget something at the end of the night? Is it tossed? Who did you put in charge of collecting all the stuff and taking it home?

The Best Man holds both and gives them to officiant.
Your reception hall and bridal attendant will gather everything for you. If something is forgotten, they'll hold on to it or ship it to you. I forgot my shoes and a few extra favors - they shipped them to me.

Re: Random Questions
Our best man held onto both wedding bands. He had a pocket in his tux jacket that he kept them in until our officiant asked for them. Figure your MOH doesn't really have anywhere to hold them (plus she's already holding your BoK as well as hers). Tho I know some MOH's will hold the groom's ring on her thumb if that's the way the couple wants to do it.At the end of the night my bridal attendant packed everything up and my mom took it all home. Depends on the hall, but I don't think anyone would throw something out that was left behind. You'll prob get a phone call the next day or something, but I don't think you have to worry about it!!

Re: Random Questions
The best man holds onto the rings (at least mine did).At Land's End, the BA and MD collected EVERYTHING at the end of the night. Everything from the Bridal Suite was brought down, I didn't have to do a thing. They asked me prior to my wedding who I wanted to be in charge of taking home those items and since it was my mother they put everything in her limo to take home. They are extremely organized. They even packed bags and bags of food for me to take home (from cocktail, appetizer, main entrees, desserts and of course the top of the cake!).
Edited: bad spelling

Re: Random Questions
Best man holds both ringsThe Banquet Manager collected all items & packed then in the boxes we provided. They even packed all the leftover food from the CH we requested. Also entrees were packed for us. Everything was placed in our limo by the staff prior to us getting in to go home! If anything was left behind, they hold on to it for instructions!!

Re: Random Questions
the best man is supposed to hold onto them unless there's a ring bearer..and i believe the best man retreives them from the RB.i'm having the MOH hold them for personal reasons.

Re: Random Questions
I guess we were in the minority, but our MOH held DH's ring until the officiant asked for it, the BM held mine.
