MARRIED LIW brides....anyone feel like i do this close to the wedding?

I am perfectly fine...I'm not nervous....I even went with another girl here to a bridal show at her hall and her mother even mentioned how calm I was to have my wedding coming up in 11 days (or 10 days, 13 hours according to ron time )

Did other brides feel this calm this close? I don't feel the slightest bit freaked or anything! I have never felt more normal than I have felt lately...it almost seems wrong..

OMG!!! I'm normally very high strung and nervous about things (mostly because I'm so friken anal!) The week of the wedding AND my wedding day itself I was so calm everyone who knows me best kept asking if I was okay because I was TOO calm!! Even with my hair vendor not showing up, I had a 5 minute freak out then I was as calm as bath water!

Yes...too calm!
Everyone was like, Hello...ur getting married! Me-nothing.
The day came and all my bm's were freaking out more than I was.
I dont know what it was...just figured this is going to be a great day no matter what happens.....and it was!

I was clam leading up to the wedding, the morning of the wedding, during the wedding. I never felt nervous at all. Everyone kept telling me when I would feel it, but it never came! I had moments of butterflies, but was never nervous!!

be happy and enjoy it. i was calm and just preoccupied but these last 2 weeks i've had this knot in my stomach that won't go away = its awful. i don't know why - everythings coming together well.

I was extremely calm, even when my sister backed out the morning of the wedding.

OMG... I soooooo agree with this!!!! hahahahahahaha That is HILARIOUS. Wait till I tell my mom!

I was completely calm before my wedding. I only started to feel nerves when I was standing outside the door of the chapel, about to see Jimmy for the first time. I had serious butterflies! After that, no probs!

I was completely calm the entire 2 weeks before my wedding & even my wedding day. My DH was even shocked bc normally I get myself all stressed out about BIG things...I knew in my head that everything was done & there was nothing I could do to make my day go smoothly! To this day, I am still hearing comments on how amazed people were that I was so calm!

As I told Kiddo115 the other night, Whatever is not done by this point in time (1 week to go), will not get done & just concentrate on the end result!!!

My friend that got married in April was the same way. At one point I wanted to smack her and shake her and say HELLOOOOOOO...you are getting married.

I wish I could be calm and relaxed. I am way too high strung.

Dont question it, enjoy it.

I'm feeling like that too! Everyone keeps asking me how I am doing and I tell them fine and they say 'no really?' But I feel fine, I'm really not nervous at all. My only fear is falling while walking down the aisle, but I would get over it anyway s

My only less-calm moments came when my sisters starting changing stuff on me, the week before the wedding.

Other than that, I was excited with that butterfly feeling in my stomach, but not nervous. I didn't worry about things not going right or anything. I knew I had done enough research here to be as prepared as possible and anything that I forgot or didn't have control over was fine.

I wonder how much of it has to do with the time you've been with your FH. We're together 7 years, living in sin for 5. We've had the same commitment to each other for all these years so maybe that translates into a more secure feeling on the wedding day?

I guess it's different for everyone. But I'm glad for you that you're not freaking. You get to enjoy and be aware of so much more!

I am to tired to feel any emotions but The nerves come and go so I just think I am numb right now I took off tomorrow so I can be rested so I am sure it will hit me tomorrow night.

i feel very calm and my wedding is in 7 days... should i feel this calm ?? hahhaha actually my fh is nervous now to me thats so funny did anyone get nervous? just about all my stuff is done and i contacted all my vendors i asm very tired but very calm not nervous

You saw me like a week before the wedding! Everyone told me how calm I looked - I really was - and I'm usually so nervous about everything!
