Some non-pro wedding pics!

Hi girls,
I've been a bit lazy when it comes to posting lately. After the honeymoon, I completely stopped thinking and relaxed. It's been great!

Here are a few non-pro wedding pics. Everyone always talks about the weather, and I was a bit bummed that it rained, but we made the best of it. It rained off and on out east, sometimes it poured, but Duet was fantastic and we worked around the weather. We may have even got some great shots in spite of the rain and mist.

DH and I chose to see eachother before the ceremony for our family pics, which was a really great thing (although I was against it at first).

All of our vendors were great. We didn't have a singe thing go wrong. Not even anything small.

I'm working on a full review now, and I will post it when we get our proofs. In the meantime, here are a few pics from our June 2nd wedding at the Country Gardens at East Wind.

Our First Dance...Those lessons were worth it! Our guests loved our first dance.



Standard cake provided by East Wind. Our only upgrade was the cake filling. It was such a good cake (from The Rolling Pin bakery).




Dancing to a special song at the end of the night. DH and I were singing to eachother. Vinny had great timing with this song. (This moment meant more to me than our first dance).

DH called me from East Wind around 3:00 and he said it was raining pretty hard. I arrived around 4:00 for pictures, and the rain had stopped, and then it started drizzling. By the time the ceremony started, it was raining to much for the ceremony to be outside. We were in and out most of the night, depending on the weather.

The inside ceremony was perfect. We wanted an outside ceremony for pictures, but we got a lot of good shots before the ceremony, so I was very happy. The roof could have blown off the building, and I wouldn't have noticed because it felt like me, DH and Father Joe were the only people in the room. (OK, well, maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration...) But it was still a fabulous, memorable ceremony.

Thank you to everyone for all your kind words.

For those '06-ers who haven't gotten married yet, the day is truly a magical one, and none of the small stuff matters at all. I even laughed when DH accidentally stepped on my shoe when he saw me for the first time and it was all smudged with dirt.

I love my husband very much, and they day wouldn't have been such a success without all his help and opinions. It was truly our day, and I hope everyone else has (or had) a similar experience!
