OFFICIAL 2006 SAND CASTLE BRIDE THREAD!!

I know we have one on the 2007 board, but I thought we should also have one on the 2006 board for this years brides getting married there!

How are we doing girls with the planning?
6 months and 9 days to go I believe .. for me.

I am going to make personalized CD's. I have seen some girls on here do it and they came out so nice. I just have to go get the program!

I am still working on interviewing florists right now.

Have you booked your florists yet? Who did you use?

I'm using Anna from National Wholesale Florist. She has really great prices and she can re-create almost any picture.

Check out NYBride's review. I believe she used her also.

The CD's are a really good idea.

How many people are you having at your reception in the Skylight Room?

I am NOT having an Viennese hour. I thought the price was too expensive.

We might have mini desserts brought in from another bakery. We also have a Grooms cake (rum cake) that my aunt is going to bake.

We're having an evening reception.

Hi!! I am having a night wedding in the ballroom...Friday in August! I am waiting on my invitation to come in and then I have to wrap bows around them and stuff them!!! Other than that I have a long list of 'little' things to do!! Almost at the 3 month mark!!!!!!!

My Invitation envelopes are out at Inkspun right now, we're still waiting on the proof.

I hope to send them out by the beginning of next week.

What made you choose SandCastle to have your wedding reception?

I walked into the Skylight room and loved the Cherry wood look.

What really got me was when Patty told me the dais would rise while the room filled with white smoke when we were introduced into the reception. I thought it was like something out of a fairytale

National Wholesale is in Bellmore on Merrick Rd...it is actually like 2 doors down from Signature...which I am using! Both are great, so it couldnt hurt to go to both!!
