Re: questions for the Church??
He will probably give you a sheet that answers alot of questions you might have. One thing you might ask about when you should call to set up a rehearsal time.

Re: questions for the Church??
Also, ask about using an aisle runner. My church won't allow it. If you plan on using outside musicians they usually want to know about that too.

Yes, ask about rehearsal time. Also, ask if the priest will pronounce you man and wife and whether you can kiss. I AM NOT KIDDING!!!!!Some priests are no longer doing this because, as they state, it's only done in movies. A friend of mine found out the priest would not do this at the REHEARSAL, a day before the wedding! She was so upset. And on the wedding day we had no idea when they were officially married.

I did not even think of this, but at a wedding we went to recently, they did not say it
Thanks

And on the wedding day we had no idea when they were officially married.
The couple is 'officially' married after the 'Rite of Marriage' is performed. This is after the homily and readings, but before the prayer of the faithful
Normally the kiss comes at the end of the mass after the final blessing, but the couple has already been married for awhile at this point.
