Thank you card etiquette

For the bridal shower thank you cards, do you sign both names or just my name? My friend looked at a wedding etiquette book and they said only the bride because the shower is for her... but I'm not sure. What did everyone else do?

Thank you card etiquette

we did a little of everything. My fiance wrote out some of the thank yous and on those we put both names. On the ones I wrote, I only signed my name. There were a few exceptions when it was someone on his side that I really didn't know - I put his name as well. I figured the shower may have been for me (though he was at it for a while) but the gifts will be used by both of us.

I got many of those at my shower on Saturday and I will sign both names to those especially. Val
