Wish Me Lots of Good Luck.....Update on Dress

Ok, so i have been dragging my heels long enough, I am going dress shopping tomorrow morning with my mom. I will be at davids bridal as soon as they open at 10am.
I feel comfortable in pretty much knowing what to expect from Davids, since i dont have 6 months for a dress to come in, i figured davids is a good place to start.
Who knows, maybe i will get lucky and like i did with RH, DJ and photographer and will find something without too much agonizing, but I am not as optimistic.....wish me luck!


UPDATE: Dress is ordered! Whoohoo!!!! It was the original dress that i knew i wanted. I tried on 2 others, but i knew this was the one.
The woman who helped me was extremely nice and very helpful. When we went to pay, however, they tried to give me the dress that i tried on. I told her that i absolutely wanted a BRAND NEW DRESS that has not been tried on by anyone else. I felt that I was being perceived as a pain in the butt for doing this, but since i am paying full price, i want one that is new. So, i made sure to tell them i want it in the plastic that it was originally packaged in and it will be in by June 2nd. The other problem we had was that when my mom went to pay with a check, they wouldnt accept her check because the check number has to be over 150, hers was 104. So, I used my amex and my mom just gave me a check. I dont know how to attach the pic, so here is a link, hope it works.

GOOD LUCK Girlie!
If no luck there try Lillette's in Baldwin and mention that you need the dress, should you see one you like in a rush. I know they do things like that..

Laura - Good luck. Just tell yourself that you cant leave for Flordia next week unless you have a dress that you love and have ordered .

Glad to hear that you got a dress in such a short time. I only have 7 months until my wedding and I haven't been to a bridal store yet. Thanks for giving me hope that I would still have time to find a perfect dress.
