BM dress alterations/where & avg cost?

My girls' dresses just came in and the shop where we ordered them from don't have convenient hours for my girls to get it fitted/altered in time for the wedding. Can you gals recommend places in eastern Nassau/western Suffolk where they could go and share what the average costs are? TIA!

Mucho thanks! Any others? I want to offer my girls a choice between 2 or 3 so they can choose someone who is conveniently located near them and has appointments available at the times they need...

i have a few dresses altered at the cleaners by me. the average price is $60-80 basically whereever you go. They take about 3 wks. to have it done. I know most cleaners do alterations, they may just want to ask around for a good one in there area..(if you get it cheaper let me know where..) IThe one i went to is in holbrook, if your near there I can get the name.....
They can also call bridal shops near them to see if they'll do it. BUt they can all go different places b/c i believe you only get a cap on alterations if you bought it at the place where you having it altered...

Angel Bridals in East Islip does a great job, but if you did not get your dresses there you do not get the cap on the alterations. 631-581-3330
