Re: NWR-moving on sat!

FH and I have so much stuff, and not a lot of storage/closet space. Luckily, my parents have some spare room and I am able to keep my clothes from the off-season at their house. Plus, all of my engagement gifts are stored there as well.
It can be an overwhelming process, but it will all work itself out in the end, and you will find space for (mostly) everything....and you will become ver creative at hiding things!!

Good luck!!!

Re: NWR-moving on sat!

FH had more stuff and is a clutter-bug. I on the other hand, throw everything away. It took some compromise...

Re: NWR-moving on sat!

I was in my own apt. & then we moved in together to our current apt. Thankfully we have eves and a lot of closet space, but still I feel like I have so much more (clothes) than him. BUT he also still has a bunch of stuff he takes over slowly from his parents' house.

It's hard.

Also hang in there, moving is SOOOOOOOO stressful....

Re: NWR-moving on sat!

We are very closet 'challenged' here in my house and like you.... too many clothes, shoes.

You will need to learn to use every space.

I use space bags for all the spare bedding/blankets/pillows. I use underbed storage for off season shoes, clothes. Those roll out plastic containers. I switch between seasons. You might have to raise your bed a bit if it's too low to accomodate storage underneath.

O yea those space bags are the Sh*t I love em!

I have been packing all day today and i am so overwhelmed I have a bunch of filled boxes but my bedroom doesnt look like i even made a DENT!

My FH said he will help me go thru some stuff. It is easier when someone else says to u well what are you going to do with that. I will reason it in my head to keep it if i am by myself!

Re: NWR-moving on sat!

I feel your pain! This is our second week in the new place and we still have some stuff in boxes that we haven't quite found a spot for yet. FH has soooo much crap! It is really overwhelming. I am begining to feel like it will never end! Lol. It is tiring but once you are actually moved in, it starts to get easier. Good luck
