Re: Is Anyone using Freeze Dried Rose Petals for petal cones?
I ordered sample petals from Petal Garden (www.petalgarden.com) and they sent me a mix of eight or so petals. They are crispy - if you bend them, they will break - but they will totally soften up like fresh petals if you keep them in the bathroom for about 15 minutes while you shower. However, after a few hours, they went right back to their freeze-dried texture. I wouldn't recommend them for petal cones if you wanted them soft - although they do take longer than fresh petals to float to the ground after you toss them (which would make for nice pictures) HTH!
