low cost Photographer

Hi all. I am looking to make my own wedding album. Has anyone else ever hired a photographer just for photos and not to actually purchase an album from??

Re: low cost Photographer

You can go with Duet, Silverfox or Twelfth Night. All three have options of not doing an album.

www.silverfoxvideo.com for Silverfox who I think I am going to go with. They are very personable!

Re: low cost Photographer

We booked Twelfth Night and all your proofs are digital so you can use Shutterfly or some other similar program to create your own albums. If not, they do have a company they deal with to make albums later on. Their packages are pretty reasonable and their pics are beautiful!

Re: low cost Photographer

yes!!! I hired a photographer for just the photos and not a wedding album. The album is optional. My photographer gives me all the photos and a CD with all of them on their as well, so i plan on using shutterfly.com for albums.

Re: low cost Photographer

I am using jenniferdavisphotography.com. She was the least expensive and I loved the quality. You will get pics online AND 200-500 4 x 6 proofs, depending on which package you book. I think her most $$ package is $1200. FM me if you want more info.

Good luck!

Re: low cost Photographer

try Thomas Paul Photography. His packages start off without an album anyway, so it shouldn't be a problem, and he gives you all the pictures on dvds and in 4x6 proofs.

i second Thomas Paul. he has a great deal, so much that you do not need to do a DIY.

Someone on the Knot was married this month and used Kenny Pang and her photos were amazing. I think she mentioned he's pretty reasonable. Good luck!
