How many places did you look before ordering your gown?

I went to one place this past weekend and found a really great dress but I know I should keep looking so I made aptm at two other places for this weekend...how many other places should I go to before ordering that dress if I don't find anything else that I love? What did everyone else do?

I went to 4 locations, and I went back to two of them. Ended up ordering at Macys.

I went to 5 different places but ended up ordering the 2nd dress I tried on. I just wanted to be sure & tried on a ton of dresses b4 making a final decision. Also, how many times are you ever going to be a bride, I wanted to be catered to & feel like a princess

2. Ordered the last gown I tried on at the 2nd place. Wasn't like any other dress I tried on. I am so happy I did try it on. It's perfect!!!

I went to 1 and found it. I had 3 other appointments and cancelled them on the ride back home.

2, loved one of the last ones I tried on at the first place, went to another store, tried THAT dress on first and just KNEW it was the one, but still tried on like 10 more dresses.

I went to two places, the second was Macy*s. Waited a week so my sister could see the dress and looked at every magazine and nothing could compare to the dress I fell in love with, so went back and ordered it. No regrets & I ordered it last Feb.

2 total. First, I went to Wedding Salon of Manhasset...and the place literally dashed my excitement within 2 minutes. A woman actually told me I couldn't look until I told her 'what I was looking to spend.' I looked at my mom, annoyed, and said 'about $2,000?' She goes, 'Oh, I don't want to get your hopes up. Why not try David's Bridal?'

I walked out and said, 'thanks for the attitude.'

Adrienne's was a breath of fresh air. I tried on about six gowns and fell in love with mine. Paid about $1600.

i went to 4 places and found my dress at 2 places.one place was cheaper and better service and so I ordered from there.

I went to 4 places, I went with the one that gave me a discount.

It was one of the 1st dresses that I tried on at the first place but I wanted to try others on just to be sure. I ended up going with the original dress but went somewhere that gave it to me for a better price.

I went to 2. The first one I was not too thrilled with, and the second one I really loved the service and the dresses. I went to the second place first with one of my BMs and then went back a second time with my mom and MOH and ordered the dress. I had had enough of trying on dresses by then.

3rd dress i tried on.. only one i checked off in the book that i wanted to see.. so technically the 1st dress... and ZERO doubt in my mind.. its now sitting on my closet door waiting for NEXT april

same here. I loved the dress, the price was good and it was near my house.

One place, I picked out my dress in 45 minutes and I have no doubts.

Oh good! I feel so much better!! I really loved that dress -- it just may be the one!!
