Girls on the Pill -HELP!!!!!!

Ok So I drop my pill down the bathroom sink...what do I do!!!!!! (I'm clueless) I've been on the pill for 2 years and this has never happened to me!! Please Help!!!!!

Okay don't panic. Do you have another pack? If so you take a pill from that day (same color from that pack.) then use it as your emgerancy pack for such cases like lossing one.

I'd just take a pill today then finish that pack you are on, you may get your period a day earlier than normal but you would still be fine.

I would not worry, Just do this and you will probably get your period early.

You don't have an extra pack, but do you have any of your prescription left? If so, go and fill it tomorrow and take two pills (same place from where you left off). If not, call your gyno and they can call it in for you. It shouldn't be a problem. If you can't get it tomorrow, I think you have to start over on a Sunday, but don't quote me on it. Explain the situation to your doctor and he/she can tell you what to do.

I think so...maybe use another form of protection just as a precaution

yeah its not that big of a deal. But when I was on the pill my doctor gave me lots of packages. Always have one for emgerancies. Its better safe than sorry. Thats what I did. If my head wasn't attacked who knows where it would. But try to keep one for theses cases.

yes because you'll still have a continuous stream of hormones in your body to prevent pregnancy. If your period is a little early, it's no big deal just start your next pack when you are supposed to. Not sure what brand you're on, but if you normally start the new pack on sunday, then you could start saturday after your period or the same sunday.

I would just recommend, at this late time, calling any 24 hour drug store (preferrably the one where you get your pills) and ask them what to do, just to be sure. I ask my pharmacist all types of questions over the phone in a pinch, and they always come through for me! Just ask a pro to be safe!

That is absolutely fine. I have dropped a pill or two in my 12 years of being on the pill. Just take the pill you would have taken the following day in it's place. You'll just end you pack a day early, therefore getting your period on day early. No harm done

i would just wait to tomorrow and take it as normal....i've dropped more pills then i care to remember and so far so good.

it stays in your system for 24 hours - so if you either don't have sex or use a condom, you'll be fine.

Don't panic. If you don't have an extra pack then keep using it as you would just skipping that one day. Since you have been on the pill for a period of time all that will happen is you may get yoru period a day or so earlier.
