Had a fitting last night...I think it might be a bridal 1st!

Had a fitting last night...I think it might be a bridal 1st!
so, my dress is being made by an 83 year old member of fh's SIL's family. she is very small, and obviously, OLD. it is hard for her to bend down, and I am not very short either.so I had the dress on and she was trying to fix the hem without bending over...NOT happening.
so she looks around her apt, and decides I should STAND ON HER DINING ROOM TABLE! LOL so here I am, in my huge BALL down and HIGH HEELS, having my dress altered on top of the woman's dining room table.
it actually worked out well though, and she was able to fix the hem without exacerbating her arthritis!
another zany story to tell my kids!

I didn't post about it, but EID should remember, that back in February my fh's apt (and my future home) was broken into in the middle of the day and burglarized. they stole money, some jewelry, fh's Chanel prescription glasses, and our VERY $$ Kodak digital camera.b/c it was so pricey (and fh's wants one like it or similar) and with the wedding coming, we decided to wait to buy a new one until we figure out what our last minute wedding expenses will be...that's why I don't have pics of A LOT of stuff.

Jess,I am so glad the fitting went well. You can borrow my old digital if you want until you get a new one. It's not great but at least it works and you'll be able to save some $$ until it's time to buy a new one.
