Re: how much time should be set aside for pics

It depends on where you want to take your pictures. Will you be traveling to a location? I'm setting aside about 30 minutes after the church to take pictures in front of the church. Then I want to go to a location and take pictures with the bridal party and my FH so I'm setting aside one hour for those photos plus 20-30 minutes travel time. Then I have to travel 40-60 minutes to my hall where I will take family pictures for 40-60minutes So in total its going to be 4 hours max including travel time. Thats about 2 hours worth of pictures. Oh and I'm taking pictures with my bridesmaids for half an hour before we head off to the church, plus 30 minutes of me getting ready pictures. Boy do I want a lot of photographs!

Re: how much time should be set aside for pics

it depends on if you're going to another location for them. I'm nervous about my time because my mass is from 1-2... leave the church at 2:30... travel time to Planting Fields Arboretum to get there for 3... hopefully just 45 minutes of pics there to drive up to The Crescent (MUST make the 4:40 sunset for pics on the beach!). Hopefully, we'll be done with pics by 5/5:15, so I can get into the cocktail hour! So, about 3 hours of pictures for us. It sounds sooo rushed! I hope it will be okay! I'm sure my DOC will keep us on track!

Re: how much time should be set aside for pics

I am hoping 2 hours will be enough. We are taking the pics before the ceremony at the same place. I just emailed my photographer to ask if this was enough time, so I will hopefully know more in a little bit.

Re: how much time should be set aside for pics

Another thing to consider is the time the sun sets in Septmber if you want to take outdoor pictures. That may place a time constraint depending on what time you're having your ceremony.
