Looking for a place to have a small wedding any ideas?
I need some help! I just got engaged and am looking to get married this fall. I really want to get married on the beach and love what I see online from The Crescent Beach Club. I have only talked to them on the phone so far but they really didn't want to take a wedding for 100 people. Seems like this might be a problem becuase it seems like they are increasing the price per person to make up for the low numbers.Does anyone have any ideas for a nice affordable place to have a small wedding?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!!

You can try Sans Souci. They an accomodate a small wedding. My minimum for a Sat. night was 125. The are right across the street from a beach and they are on a cliff over looking the water.

Re: Looking for a place to have a small wedding any ideas?
you could try East Wind. I may be wrong, but I think the Country Gardens can accomodate a smaller wedding. It's not on the water, but it's close enough to the beach to get pictures taken there beforehand! that's what I'm doing. And their prices are reasonable!

Re: Looking for a place to have a small wedding any ideas?
Congrats on the engagement! There are a number of places on LI that cater to small wedddings - my reception hall is one of them - Brentwood Country Club. I'm inviting no more than 150 people to mine and I have to guarantee 100. My hall also offers a package which may help you if you want to get married this year - it will save you on having to shop around for vendors! FM me if you want some more info! I'm happy to help!

with 100 or less, you may be able to get the party room of a waterfront restaurant. Or, you may be ablet ot get a permit to get married on the beach, and then have the reception nearby.

My hall offers packages for 100 people. It is not on a beach though...Ariana Waterfall in W. Hempstead. It only accommodates one wedding at a time and its really affordable (I got engaged in November and I am getting married next Friday!) They are really helpful.
