Nope, I wouldn't use them. I had my reception there and the service was ATROCIOUS. You might want to re-evaluate your options, if you can.

Re: Verdi's Of Westbury 'Old Gi Gi's'

We walked in and right out of there. As soon as we walked in the place had a damp musty smell to it, and there were people standing around, but no one came up to us to greet us or anything.

Could have been just an off day, but the smell is what drove us out of there.

I wish I had the sense to do that. Although, the food there is quite delicious. If anyone is choosing a hall just on that, they would be happy with Verdi's. But if you care about them pulling of your event in an organized fashion and with decent service, I would highly recommend you discuss your concerns REPEATEDLY and get everything in writing. When it comes to handling multiple events, they can't seem to pull it off.

Re: Verdi's Of Westbury 'Old Gi Gi's'

Yes I got everything in writting my sister inlaw signed the contract for me but they faxed it to me in florida before I had her sign also my aunt is going in with my cousin with copies of everything and she will do all the final things.

They won't play around since I know how they used to be. I used to work for D & R Photography Studios they used to be the house photographers for Gi Gi's so they know what I expect.

They are also giving me a very very nice deal and contract and also a very good Menu Etc ..
