Went to see Larkfield Manor last night.....

Hi Girls.......FH and I went to see Larkfield Manor last night and the place was actually a lot nicer than the pictures they had on line. The BM, Harry, was really, really nice to us and very, very informative as well. I did my research about the place with a click of the SEARCH button here, but unfortunately, I didn't find anything bad about it. I kept on reading a lot of good things about it after it had new owners.
Is this place really that amazing in terms of food?? Has anyone been to Larkfield Manor for weddings recently??
Please let me know your honest opinion!!!!!

Thanks a bunch!!!!

I went to a wedding there last year, I dont know if that was before the new onwers or not but My FH and I thought the food was really good. To be specific....we had the filet mignon and it was extremely good.

Re: Went to see Larkfield Manor last night.....

I got married there last year. Loved the food. That was the best thing. If you decide to go with them, make sure you get everything written in your contract and check if they fulfilled everything. They promised strawberries and champagne as guests walked in, and they said they would give my guests free valet parking (it was on the contract), but they did neither. Also, the maitre'd I had was very loud and they messed up my seating chart, which was embarrassing because some people didn't have seats for a while. I don't mean to complain about everything, but there were just some things I was not happy with. The food, however, was delicious, and people still tell me how much they enjoyed it. HOWEVER, we hardly got to eat it, because they took our platesaway before we were done, and they didn't even offer to make us a 'to-go' plate. We ended up ordering chinese food on our wedding night from the hotel!!! The pluses: besides food, the servers were very professional and courteous, the place looked clean and beautiful, and you can take pictures in their garden and it looks like you're in a park, very pretty. Hope this helps.
