Re: Strapless wedding dress

I'm a 36 C. I was planning on getting cups put into the dress, but I dont think it would give me enough lift and I would feel uncomfortable not wearing a bra. So I am going to look for a push up strapless bra. If that exists. I'm going to look at VS.

Re: Strapless wedding dress

I have a strapless dress and I was thinking of going bra-less because I have a corset back dress. I was in there really good. Nothing was moving around at all. When my dress comes in, I wil try it again without a bra and make my final decision...oh, and I am a 36 full C
If you have a corset back, you should consider going without the bra. Good luck!

Re: Strapless wedding dress

I wore a strapless dress and I went to bratenders in Manhattan.

You meet with a 'Bra Expert' and try on a few different things until one fits well. I bought a corsett and some 'cookies' to help give me some boobies.

I am a 36B

Re: Strapless wedding dress

I actually had both bra and cups sewn in and wore a long-line bra. My seamstress suggested that I have the cups sewn in as well, it keeps the shape of the gown.

I got my bra at the salon I went to (Bridal Reflections), but it was actually a bra that I've seen in Macys, Bloomingdales, etc.

This was mine, it was very comfortable.

Mine was the Felina - Style: 7643 Essential Seamless Hidden Wire Bustier. Price about $70(Pic#1)

'Provides a smooth seam free foam bodice for shape and support. Bodice hugs the hips gently but firmly so the garment will not roll. Seamless foamed lined cups with molded graduated pads along with hidden under wires with double cushion tips and double cushioned boninb placed only in the back and sides create amazing comfort and versatility. The strapless neckline and deep V back allow for multiple Bridal and formal dress attire.'

Re: Strapless wedding dress

i was going to get cups put in but my seamstress said to make the dress have support in the back so it would crunch up to wear a strapless bra which I ended up doing--it felt like I had cups in anyway so it wasn't a big deal. You may just need a regular bra not a corset like one.

Re: Strapless wedding dress

I'm having cups sewn in. I want to be comforable and not sweat from a corset. Strapless bras drive me crazy.
