Re: questions for reception hall...

how many servers per table?

what is the bartender to guest ratio?

do they allow tastings?

how many weddings or parties do they do at the same time?

maximum capacity?

any min requirement?

can you arrive early for photos? ( if you are interested in that)

what's included in the price per person? (cake, centerpieces, desserts etc.)

HTH

Re: questions for reception hall...

If money is an issue....bargain negotiate bargain negotiate. Ask if price can be lowered if the menu is altered in anyway or what extras can be eliminated.

Alot of these reception halls will NOT share this info because they want you to spend $$$$.. YOU are in control!

Re: questions for reception hall...

Congratulations!!!

I compiled several lists, and came up with this:
Qs to ask reception halls before booking - VERY THOROUGH

Do you know where you want to look? On or off LI? Nassau? Suffolk? Qns? This is the first step.

I saw 14 HALLS before I found the perfect one for us.

Happy Planning!
