How long did it take to receive your marriage license in the mail?

We were married 2/11 and received it in the mail on 3/7 from the Town of Hempstead.

my cousin got married in 2004. she said it took about 2 and a half weeks to get her license.

i dont know if anything makes a difference-- like which town you register for it in, busy times--a lot of other people getting married and requesting, etc. but that's what happened with her--not too bad.

from that info looks like you should be expecting yours on or around 3/21.... based on the date your profile says you were married!!

you must be so excited!!!

Im confused I thougth you got your marriage license the day you go tot city hall to apply fot, don't you need it the day of the wedding???
