Bridesmaid Dress Length!!!

What length do you plan on your bridesmaids dresses being? long? tea length? short?

Since I am having a June Wedding, I am going with the tea-length dresses. They go below the knee to about the calf area. To view which dresses I am gonna have my maids in...check out this website

http://www.threaddesign.com/collections/schiffon.php

its called the Striped Chiffon. I am either going with the Burgandy and Salmon or the Rose and Ivory. What do you think?

Re: Bridesmaid Dress Length!!!

I think I'm going to let my maids decide what length they will wear. I like both long and tea length. Ohh.. I almost forgot your dresses are very pretty.

Re: Bridesmaid Dress Length!!!

Those are beautiful dresses.. I wanted tea length for my BM's but my MOH convinced me that it's a night wedding and they should be in something more formal meaning long dresses... But I still may do the shorter length..

i was thinking about that too since my wedding is a night one too...my ceremony will be around 4 ish and then the cocktail starts at 7 and day light ends around 8:30 or so there will be alot of daylight....but i figure they can reuse the dresses since they are more like cocktail dresses.....i love the tea length dresses!!! but its true i think the long ones are more formal for a night wedding

This is how I feel about the tea length dresses. . . I think my BMs will be able to get more use out of them.

Re: Bridesmaid Dress Length!!!

Cant decide... I like tea length and I'm a day wedding, but do you think if I do tea length i have to have them wear matching shoes? that might be tough to find.... and would you have to dye them to match?

I have't decided yet on whether they will wear uniform shoes.....as for me...i am letting them pick their own dresses instead of me telling them what i want them to wear so i figured if i have them wear the same shoes then it makes up for it....ill have to discuss it with my bridesmaids first and see what the consensus is about that...and yea i will probably have them dye their shoes to match if its a hard color...
