who else's FH is not wearing a tux?

i'm just curious. i'm leaning towards a pair of navy or taupe linen dress trousers, a white shirt, and a blue and taupe striped silk and linen tie. it's going to be HOT in august! FH has very limited say in this.

my DH didn't wear a tux. he bought a 3 button Italian black suit and wore it with a white shirt and white on white tie, looked very sharp!

if your wedding is casual, then I would say what you chose is fine.

Mines not. Mind you we're doing a medieval theme. So thats why. Plus my FH hates dressing up in suits and tuxes. I like your idea. Very down to earth and relaxed.

Love that tie! Sounds very nice, especially if your FH will be more comfortable that way!

Mine is not either. We are getting married outside in August so he and the guys are wearing kahki's and dress shirts (maybe with jackets if it cools down after).
It'll be cooler and it's saving all the guys some money, lol!

For mine, the groomsmen and the dad's are wearing the same suits but they'll have a different tie, just my FH will have the ivory tie.

We are in the process of buying-- but definitely no tux- also doing outside in august. FH will wear silk pants and silk shirt with a jacket. The pants will be tan and the jacket and shirt will be an ivory/cream color. I think the groomsmen will wear tan shirts with a cream color pant-- no jacket. Looking beachy and fun for the summer

Here's another bridal party in tan suits, I love the look. I tried to find tan tuxes but only found one place in CT that had them. My BMs are in Chocolate brown, the GMs will have chocolate brown/ivory striped ties and my FH will have just the ivory.

My FH is not wearing a tux. He's wearing his dress blue (Marine uniform). It was his choice. The rest of the GMs will wear tuxes. But I like the idea of the suits (that tan suit photo above was really nice).
