Question for those who did/doig pocketfolds or invites with NO inner envelope

Where did you put the names that are commonly on the inner envelope?

I have pocketfolds and no inner envelope and not sure if I should...

A) Put all names on outer envelope (afraid it could get to 'bulky' w/ names).

B) Fill in the response card w/ those invited (afraid what if I invite John and Jane, but Jane can't go and John wants to bring someone else).

C) Put the names on the seal which will close the pockefodl (afraid it'll be over looked).

OR

D) I DUNNO!!!!

What did/will you girls do??

I'm not doing pocketfold but I think I woud prob put it all on the outer envelope....

We're doing pocketfolds and so far we decided to just put names on the outer envelope and no names on the pocketfold itself (i think this is what most people do).

BUT, we would like to make little squares with each guests name and glue it to the outside upper flap of the pocketfold... we're going to see if we have the time and patience to do that, since we're sending out 150 invites!

Most invites I get in the mail that HAVE an inner envelope don't have our names on it, they are just blank. So I think it's okay to just put the names on the outer envelope.

We didn't have pocket folds, but our invites had no inner envelope. We out the names on the outer envelopes, and I first I thought it would look bulky, but It really didn't. We didn't have any invitation that were made out to more then two people so it was okay.

We did DIY pocketfolds. The pocketfold had a ribbon around it that was held together by a sticker that also held the pocketfold closed. Make sense? We put our monogram on the sticker, but if a person was invited with a guest, we put the person invited '& Guest' on the sticker. It actually came out really nice and worked well! HTH!

I was having the same dilemna so I just decided to pay the extra $$$ for inner envelopes even though they are not customarily ordered for these pocketfolds.

then we had their names printed on the reply cards.
so on the reply card it said
mr. l smith and guest

-number or guests
-accept with pleasure
-decline with regret

We put the names on the outer envelope. Boy that would be a lot of work to put names on the seals!
