I have a silly question when I mean time frame are you supposed to register? i have no clue?

My wedding is next July so I figured I would register around Oct or Nov (before christmas).

You can register as early as you want. I'm registering next weekend with BB&B. I'm so excited!

You can do it whenever you want! We did ours in October 05 for our Septemebr 07 wedding I couldn't wait

When ever you want to start is fine. Some places will tell you to leave bedding and towels to a few months before because they are more likely to get discontinued. I registered in January and I am not having an e party. I have already gotten a few engagement gifts from it.

we registered for things we really needed for our eparty..and I got everything on my list plus a lot of $$ so I will add more things as it gets closer to the date because I am scared my taste might change before then.

The sonner the better I don't know about you but we've been recieving gifts since the word was out... So We'd rather get stuff we need (Although I do love my Tiffany Pitcher, I'm just probly never going to use it b/c I'm afraid of breakage )

But if you do it earlier, be sure and check the registry on occasion because some things become discontinued or the store you register at may no longer carry it anymore.

I registered pretty soon after I got engaged...I have a lot of great aunts who would be looking to buy me an e-gift. We had our engagement party in January (engaged in Nov) and it worked out well- we didn't put everything on it, but got soooo much off of it. And now we can add stuff before my shower.

I WAS GOING TO REGISTER NEXT YEAR, BUT SINCE OUR ENGAGEMENT PARTY IS IN THE SPRING, WE ARE REGISTERING NOW FOR THE PARTY

We are getting married in September of next year. . . I was thinking we'd register sometime during the winter of '07.
