Sunday night wedding
For those who have gotten married on a sunday night when people did not have off on monday, did anyone leave early or complain? What month did you get married in?

Re: Sunday night wedding
No one complained. We did have 2 guests leave early - as in right after the ceremony. One b/c of a family emergency and the other b/c they had to be somewhere the next day at 4:30 am so they needed to go home to sleep and get ready. Our ceremony was at 3:30. The CH started at 4. We got married 8/28/05. The following weekend was laborday weekend. I think that b/c it was in the summer and the following weekend was a holiday, it made it easier. Also, most of our guests were in the tri state area, so it was not to far to travel. We also had a twilight wedding so it ended at 10 pm. Late enough for everyone to stay to the end. Most people left at 9:45-10:15.
ETA: In jewish weddings it is most common to have Sunday weddings b/c of the sabbath. I would have been surprised to have heard any complaints. More often than not, if a jewish wedding is on a Sat. night it is really late - as in ceremony is at 8 pm and then the party ends at 12 or in the summer if the ceremony is at 9 or 9: and the wedding does not end until 2 or 3 am -- that is when there are complaints.
