Monogram Cake Topper Question - Displaying after the Wedding
What are you girls doing with your monogram cake toppers after the wedding? Are you displaying them at home? How?I mentioned them to a friend and she thought it would be better to get a 'traditional' cake topper because I will be able to display it after the wedding. but, I love the monograms ones a lot and would like some ideas on displaying them.

Re: Monogram Cake Topper Question - Displaying after the Wedding
maybe you can put it in a shadow box, and surround it on a wall in your house with framed pictures from your wedding? You can also put your wedding cake picture in the shadow box with it. Just an idea...

I cut the stakes at the bottom of the letters and put them in a shadow box with invitation, menu, pix and flowers.

it's a good day!
Are you doing a Christmas theme? I would have done a December Christmas themed wedding if my b-day wasn't in December. I didn't want to cram all my special days into one month (ya lose out on the gifts that way! lol)

I'm not necessarily doing a 'Christmas' theme, but I like the colors cranberry red, gold and ivory together, so those will be my colors. I wanted to try to not do red, since it's a popular color that time of year, but I love the color combo.

Actually, the shadowbox is no bigger than a composition notebook-maybe 2' thick in depth. I have the pix/menu/invit layered with the intials floating on top.
