Engagement Party Favors?

Would any of you have favors for an engagement party? It's tradition in my family to have one, but I'm not sure if a favor is really needed What do you guys think? I was thinking of chocolate bars with the wrapper saying our names, to cheesy?

Re: Engagement Party Favors?

We did chocolate pops, and mom and I baked brownies, we wrapped them in cellofane bags and attatched two silver charms, one said thank you, and the other said our wedding date

I think the candy bars is a good favor, they get the big deal favor at the wedding.

Re: Engagement Party Favors?

My engagement party is in 2 weeks, we're giving out small 2 sided frame wth our picture on 1 side, the other side a bible verse.

We got the frames from AC Moore for 60cents (was 99cents, on sale 40%)..

Re: Engagement Party Favors?

My party is tomorrow and we are having an Asian theme. For the favors, I got chocolate dipped fortune cookies with our names and date on the inside and put them inside chinese food container boxes that had red hearts on them. I am also giving out m and m's with our name and date on it as well.

Re: Engagement Party Favors?

Our theme was the Kim Anderson little boy and girl bride and groom. For our favors, we gave out Kim Anderson save-the-date magnets for the wedding with the little boy and girl on them (soooo cute!... go to favorlady.com. Great price, too! ) Then we bought little Kim Anderson boxes and filled them with tulle with wedding M&M's (and we had a few bags that said 'Joe and Sarah' on each M&M... so cute!). (we also found Kim Anderson balloons and sent the same Kim Anderson invites).

I think giving 'save-the-date' magnets or something STD at an Engagement PArty is a natural progression since those are all the people you will be eventually inviting to the wedding! . Here's the link for the site I used:

Re: Engagement Party Favors?

My engagement party is this weekend.
We did photo lollipops (4.5 inches is the candy lollipop)! They are cherry flavored and have our faces on it. I'll post a pic when I have a chance. They're adorable. I got them at this store the Imagemaker in Freeport. I'm so excited!!!
