Ok well before i was engaged i always promised myself i wouldnt be 'one of those' girls.....who has nothing else going on in her life besides her wedding....only talks to her friends about wedding things.....etc (ive been on the other end)......and so far i think im doing a pretty good job! im very busy at work and other things as well........but sometimes i just get the urge to be wedding obsessed! i guess thats what these boards are for ! can anyone else relate?

THESE BOARDS ARE MY LIFE SAVER!!!

I have the same problem. I work in an office and most of my friends are guys, the last thing they want to talk about is a wedding. 99% of my girlfriends are all single and you know how wedding talk with them can get.

I totally agree. I feel like a drug addict or something sometimes. I need to come on here to get my fix b/c I dont want to drive FH and family nuts with all the wedding talk. This is my safe haven...lol. You girls understand how it is so its nice to have this outlet.

thank god! and its so tru about the girlfriends........dont get me wrong my friends are really happy for me .....but i guess u just dont get it until its you!

I do the best that I can but the fact is my friends are in the wedding! So I let them know when something new is happening. But I remember what else is going on and why they are in my wedding - cause we care about each other and what is going on in our lives.

I was that Bride! I think mostly b/c I was having trouble booking a venue (we're under 150 & we wanted a Sat. night)

Now, I am actually getting a bit lazy w/ the planning,

My friend drove me nuts when I was her MOH about wedding talk all the time...I swore I wouldn't do that. I catch myself sometimes talking too much about my wedding and I stop myself. I can always come here and talk about my wedding day or night!!

that's great Chell, Although I have to say, I love seeing my cousins now (the little ones) I think one of our flower girls is more obsessed then me. She lovesthe magazines, & now she comes to me like,' Michy Michy look I'm goingto throw the flowers like this...

It's just the cutest thing ever, well to me, Jas, & her mom
