Most kids with autism never get moments like that - he is lucky to be with so many supportive peers as well!!!

You better promise to NOT stop posting NWR things! I love what you post! Whether they're funny or touching... they're worth sharing! Thanks!I have to say, I have SUCH a soft spot in my heart for kids - people - with disabilities that I wouldn't be able to work with them everyday. My heart lands in my toes and stays there for hours. I literally feel sick that there are people in this world with such problems... and I always wonder if they'll find love (as corny as that sounds). I give you a lot of credit for working with kids like that... I bet you make their lives brighter. God Bless You!

Thank you so much for showing us this story. My sister is an autism specialist and I am constantly hearing stories about kids with autism...I'm so touched to see the welcome and reaction the audience gave him at that game!!

I almost cried watching that. I work with kids too, and it is so nice to see them coming togeather to support one kid like that.

That's a great story! He's very lucky to have such great classmates, because the truth of it is, is that a lot of kids can be cruel.

Thanks for this post!!!!!!!!!!! This was at a local high school from where I grew up and the whole city of Rochester is cheering him on and has been on the front page of all the local papers up there!Stories such as these are good moments for all of us!!!
