Re: r u do this: Something old, something new, something borrowed, *blue
FH's grandmother actually attempted to take care of this for me at our engagement party...I had to modify the new as her new was this wire basket that 'turned' and just isn't very concealable either.something old:
a handkerchief from FH's grandmother
something new:
an aquamarine necklace that FH gave me for valentine's day (birthstone)
something borrowed:
a gold coin wrapped inside the handkerchief (and yes, i have to give it back)
something blue:
a blue ribbon tied around the handkerchief.
i also have a silver six pence that i found on ebay!

Re: r u do this: Something old, something new, something borrowed, *blue
I have lots of old and borrowed: My diamond in my e ring is from my great grandmother's engagement ring; I will wear my mother's heart necklace, which was my Grandmother's; I will wear my mother's bracelet, which was my Great Grandmother's.New: Dress, but my dress was a sampple, does that not count then?
Blue: Probably underwear, or maybe this old hankie my mom has, with blue ribbon in it..
And I will definitely have the six pence in my shoe.
