Reservations made for Bayside GTG 3/10/06-7:30

Hi guys,
I have made reservations for Margaritas on 3/10/06 at 7:30, located at 40-09 Bell Blvd - # 718-717-0999, for 15 people. The reservation is under LIW...Yay!!!

So far the topics of interest are tipping, DIY projects-bring/inquire about and of course getting to know one another..Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Sounds great, I passed by there today, it is small & right next door to the old Crazy Moose between 41st & 42nd Ave.

Guys although I think the lists of 'must talk abouts' is important, after attending a bunch of GTG's, I have to say they are more informal and the conversation just flows and so many different things are talked about.

I agree with Cindy... if it's a large group people will just start talking to whoever is next to them.

I see what you are saying...but it was not meant for a 'formal' meeting, but just to put it out there just in case someone was interested in something someone made, etc...to possibly bring the item to look at..sometimes that helps...

topics are a great idea but only a few simple ones. For someone like me who doesn't talk much on these boards and will not know anyone at all! They will be great jumping off points. I don't think we should do a set list of what will be discussed but a few ideas like DIY are great!!!! I'm sure everything topic we can think of and post on here will come up naturally on their own we're brides!!!! We love talking wedding!!!! lol


oh and no one understands about me doing this GTG either!!! lol They go OH MY GOD you're meeting people from ONLINE!!!! Do you know what happens??!!!! I'm like it's not dating it's Brides!!!!!!

honeybee06 - isn't that funny how people react? Everyone I know is so afraid of it for two reasons one they hear crazy stories on the news or two they meet someone online who turned to be a loser guy so they think everyone is crazy! lol At our pre-cana the room was like split either meet at a bar (that's us) or meet online it's sooooo common!!!
Oh well I guess I'm one of those crazy online people just like they think! lol yeah! I'm a crazy online bride!

i hear ya... i always say i met my fiance online, i got my job online, one of my really good friends online (Aphrodite07) and my apartment,... sheesh its 2006 its not so foreign to utilze the world wide web to connect us!
