Wedding dress

I bought my dress.. its now sitting at my house.. just waiting for 4/28/07 (425 days)...
Is there anything I have to do to keep it white/clean.. perfect for lack of another word...
Can I just hang it up or do I need some special stuff?
I have NO idea.. I vaguely remember a thread about this recently

TIA

Re: Wedding dress

Re: Wedding dress

A friend of mine took two white sheets, made a 'cover' for it and hung it in a spare bedroom...

Re: Wedding dress

You could have it preserved by a dry cleaner until you're ready for it

Re: Wedding dress

the white sheet is a good idea - if you keep it in the plastic garment bag (thats what i did for 6 months) i was told to make sure the bag is left unzipped to prevent moisture from building up and leave it in a closet or room not used often - not a room thats well lit and bright though. You'll be fine!
