For girls who booked a DJ, who saw them at a showcase, wedding, etc. before you booked?
Hi Everyone - I am struggling with my DJ decision. For those girls who are using a DJ, did you make sure you saw them perform live before booking?? Or did you find that meeting them in person before booking was sufficient? Please let me know what you recommend. I live in NYC and am planning our wedding on Long Island. It's so difficult for me to see most of these vendors in action, but I want to make the right decision....Let me know what you think and what you did. Thanks...

I have actually attended weddings that my Dj's have done... So I know exactly what Im getting into. They were our 1st choice and that was it- they are amazing!

I saw them perform at a vendor show case at my wedding reception hall and then decided to book them.

I saw them at bridal showcase, and thought they were so great. But if you cant get to one, you can always stop by, and most places will have some videos so that yoi can at least get an idea of how they perform. I am pretty picky, when it comes to picking vendors, and when we saw them we knew we had to look no further. The DJ is Absolute Entertainment. Not only are they really good, but they are so very professional, which you dont always find. They are located in Sayville on LI, and speak to Jeff if you call.He really is helpful...Good luck!

Booked mine since I loved him at my best friend's wedding and living from out of state couldn't see/interview too many Djs!

We saw them at a showcase at Jericho Terrace...we never looked at anyone else..We love Starlight Express!
