TIPPING

I was in '05 brides and saw that some of them felt that tipping someone who works for themselves is not necessary but nice. Is this true??? What do you girls think?

i can tell you in the hair business ..the ettiquette is not to tip the owner of the salon if he does your hair. so .. thinking maybe its the same if some vendor owns the company themselves?? ie...tip their assistants..but not them??

hmmm ..curious too!

That's what I always thought, don't tip the owner/proprietor, but DO tip someone who works for them.
