My first DIY project!

Here is it ladies! My cake topper! I am still working on it, but this is the start. Let me know what you think. The colors are actually amethyst and light amethyst.

OMG i just took pics of my cake topper (a W also) and they look so similar!!!

I have added some more beads to the sides of the letter as well and it looks even better! Only problem, I ran out of beads. I have to wait until my next order from Artbeads.com arrives. I am so proud, since this is my first project. I am not a very crafty person so this is a big accomplishment for me!

Very Pretty!! Looks like mine if you turn it upside down, I am an M. LOL
I ran out of crystals too.
My pics came out too dark so I did not post them.

It looks great. Where did you get the letter from and did it come on a stand or something to make it stay upright on the cake?

I ordered the letter from an Ebay vendor. I wouldn't recommend her for 2 reasons: It took a long time to receive the product (which was listed in the auction, but still seemed excessive) and she was abrupt via email, which seemed weird. There are many Ebay vendors who sell the letters, so just check around

As far as the stand, if you look at the bottom of the letter you can see little white sticks from the bottom. Those will be in the top of the cake and that is why I didn't add the crystals there. It looks SO much better in person. FM me if you want to ask any other questions.
