Calling all September/October Brides!

I'm getting married 9/30/06 and I feel like I should be doing more! Right now I'm in the process of choosing invitaions and finalizing my BM Dresses. What are you girls working on right now?

I'm working on finding my favor and getting my gifts in order. We just registered, my BM dresses are bought, and we're meeting with the vendors next month.

working on bm dresses. started thinking about invitation, centerpieces...still havent gotten a florist. Just booked HM. I am really working on getting my azz in gear. We still have a lot to do!

We are about to order the BM's dresses and book the honeymoon and order limos.
Next up not until mid april start looking at invitations.
All the while thinking about litte things!!!

Hey date twin! I'm finishing up sending out the STD and finalizing the BM dress orders. Still need to book limos. The other big things are done, because I'll be really busy from end of May until end of July studying for the bar exam.

just finished favor ideas, and ordered DIY projects.
got my shoes, and undergarments for the wedding...I've started honeymoon shopping (bathing suits at Blums in Patchogue are amazing!)

my next step is the junior bridesmaid dresses & flower girls. the bridesmaids already ordered.

I also ordered jewelry for the day of. for myself and bridesmaids.

Hi to both of my date twins...my dress is in with the undergarments, veil, tiara and shoes. I have found my jewelry for the day and for my BMs. The BMs dresses have been ordered. I have met with the photographer, ordered favorsand met with the Pastor (ceremony at hall). Next Saturday, I am meeting with the florist to finalize all of the flowers. The following Saturday we are meeting with the hall to do the menu and order invitations. Also, going to the bakery to order the cake and going to order his tux and pick out the style for GM tuxes. I have registered at Fortunoff and Bed Bath and Beyond and have booked my Honeymoon (Ladera Resort - St. Lucia) and booked Mya from Cosmetic Artistry for my makeup and hair for my day and for the BMs. I have a lot of little things to start organize (menus, unity candle, memorial candle, card holder box, programs, slipper basket and bathroom basket). I will begin making some things shortly. I know my weekends int he spring/summer are filled up already b/n showers, graduations, birthdays, communions, christianings, etc. I have done a little at a time to avoid the craziness..

I am also finalizing the BM dress and picking out my invitations.
I have changed my mind on the bm dress about a dozen of times. I am going to order them on tuesday.

I'm working on BM dresses and invitations, getting addresses for my MOH for the shower..just booked the hotel for the OOT guests and mailing out STD's!

I'm working on all my DIY stuff. (We Do letters, programs, RD invites, sand ceremony sand [need mine, have his], scavenger hunt list needs to be printed on nice paper). I still need shoes and a veil. We need airfare for our honeymoon. Invites are chosen, I'm working on the wording. I'm hoping to place the order in the next few weeks. My must play list for the DJ is a work in progress - every time I hear a song I love I write it down together with the name of the artist. The big musical selections have already been made (ceremony, BP entrance, our entrance, our first dance & cake cutting). Other than that, we just need to make payments, and do the kind of stuff you do in the last month (final meetings with vendors, marriage license).

I went through the bridal checklist on Friday, and the only things I don't have done (or have any clue about) are those final two month things.

ok date twin now i'm really getting stressed! i didn't even get BM dresses yet, i guess i'm lucky i ordered a gown so far. looking into tiars and then hair and makeup. i have no clue where to look for shoes..i need flats that's all i know!

I did my invites already (I know, very early, just wanted them out of the way) GOT MY PASSPORT!! So proud of that.... Ordered my dress/veil, have my shoes, FH booked honeymoon last week, have my flowers & centerpieces picked and gave the pics to my florist (WHO IS AMAZING if anyone is still looking), started on some DIY projects... BUT my MOH who is my sister has given me 100 excuses as to why she can't come here to pick a BM dress, so I am picking it for her. She's been SUCH a dissapointment!! I was her MOH and did so much for her.

For the invites, I guess by the end of June and then I guess the response date would be for mid August? Is that how it works?

I'm Oct 1, so not quite date twin but almost... I am planning on mailing them late in July and my response date is Sept 1 - I know more people do 6 weeks, but I thought 4 would be plenty - I'm having a fairly small wedding, approx 100 invited. I just figure people will forget about responding if they get them way before the response date. Just my opinion, though!!

I think that's right. Late June send out invites and August 30th response date.

My sister just ordered her MOH dress yesterday [I'm not having a bridal party] and I have a hair/makeup trial this week and then I will order invitations next month but I wont be mailing them until July.
