Tipping for hair/makeup trial
Am I supposed to tip the hair/makeup girl who is coming to my house to give me the trial? My trial is $150 and I probably will have to leave a deposit as well.
If so, how much is appropriate?
TIA!

$150 for the trail seems really high... I wouldn't tip for the trail. I would just tip for the wedding day.

Re: Tipping for hair/makeup trial
well.... i do agree that for a trial that is a ridiculous price..but technically tipping is kinda still the thing to do... but i would think twice about such a high price for a trial..cant imagine how much the day of would cost.xxoo

Re: Tipping for hair/makeup trial
That is very steep for a trial......Mine was not that expensive but I tipped $10...if it is a person that is working for themselves then they get 100% of the money that you pay them for the trial and day of

Re: Tipping for hair/makeup trial
I would intend on tipping - however at my trial when I tried to tip she woukd not accept it because it was alot of money to begin with.

Re: Tipping for hair/makeup trial
i feel like if you are going to a salon you have to tip the girl because obviously they only get a percent of what you are paying ..but if the person has her own business i don't really see a point to tipping on top of her own set chargeWelcome New Vendors
