Who's making a tote filled with stuff for Bridal Party?
I really love this idea. I want to get each of my girls a tote and personalize it with their intials on it. I will also get each of them one nice piece of jewlery, but I want to fill up the tote with other 'little' things. I am having a fall themed wedding......does anyone have any ideas of what other things I can put in the tote that might have to do with a fall theme? Or just what else to put in there regardless of fall theme? So far I have:
*Chinese Slippers for reception
*Compact Mirror
TIA

Re: Who's making a tote filled with stuff for Bridal Party?
I am doing something like this too. I am envisioning ordering the bags from LL Bean (they're famous for their canvas bags with the monograms) and stuffing them with fun stuff. I am putting in jewelry that goes with their dress, (something affordable from Claire's or somewhere like that), flip flops or slippers for the reception, stuff from bath and body works because I'm obsessed with that stuff... and that's all i have so far.For fall, you could ordered the bags in a fall color (the bag is a cream canvas but the handles and the monogram are in the color you choose). Bath and Body Works or someplace like that always sells things in a fall theme, (like a pumpkin body scrub for example). If you have a sweet tooth, maybe you could throw in things like candy corn or other fall candy. Yankee Candle also sells great fall scents like apple, fireside, pumpkin, etc. so you could throw in some candles or something...

Depending on when in the fall you could get the girls a wrap to wear the day of the wedding.if the dress they are getting doesn't have one. They sell cheap ones in the mall.and the city..fake pashminas(spelling?)I'm doing somehting similar with my girls...I'm jealous i wish the weddings i was in that i got something like this

I was going to get them bathrobes and slippers - and some other stuff. I don't want to go with too many little things they won't use again. I am going to really put my $ towards their jewlery. I want to get them all something a little different that they will wear again.

Re: Who's making a tote filled with stuff for Bridal Party?
I'm thinking of doing something like that. I'm having a party one year to the date of our wedding for the entire bridal party and that's when i'll be asking my girls to be bridesmaids so i thought it might be a really nice touch to present them with something cute like a monogrammed tote with slippers and maybe a robe - something they could use the morning of the wedding.

I'm doing this, although they'll all get the velor track suits, wife beater tanks, w/ title, then everything else will be personalized to meet their likes & dislikes

You could also do a little 'day of' kit...stuff they might need...bobby pins, hairspray, clear nail polish., etc...little beauty supplies that might come in handy.

You guys are awsome! Great ideas! Someone from the knot recommended Lillan Vernon. I checked them out and their totes are cute and inexpensive. I'm a little concerned though because they are so inexpensive though! I'm always looking to save money, but I get a little nervous when something is sooooo cheap. I'm worried the quality won't be good!

There bags are good. Not cheap quality at all. I would not worry. I have ordered them for other gifts before and they are great! I would say go for it!!

You might want to post on BHB or '08 board as for this is a very old thread from 2 years ago.
