Girls, help me out here. If your dress has lace and pearls on it

does your jewelry HAVE to be or have pearls? can you go with something else and have it coordinate (ie rhinestones, crystals, DIAMONDS )

you can even do a pearl crystal mix maybe...

eta: my friend wore a lace dress and wore this necklace without the teardrop...and this bracelet

My dress has alencon lace and pearls. I am doing diamond and pearl chandelier earrings. But you can do what you want.

My dress is all lace no pearls....but a few people have told me to wear pearls with it. But I'm not going to...I REALLY don't think you have to wear pearls just because your dress may have small pearls. It's kinda hard to tell anyway...they mostly just look shiny.

I don't think you have to wear pearls. As long as your jewlery is coordinated it will look great.

I think you can mix it up. As long as it isn't overwheming b/c it can take away from the dress. I am doing a very simple earing and bracelet and haven't decided if I will even wear a necklace yet.

My dress is ivory/champagne w/ a lot of gold undertones, and I was convinced my head piece (hadn't seen it in while) had no silver/rhinestones in it at all. I was wrong! It's a combination of silver and pearls, yet still goes perfectly with my dress.

My dress has no pearls at all and is all crystal..but I want to wear pearls on my wedding day..

My dress has lace, gold beading and pearls - my headpiece is silver, and so are the stones on my shoes! The lady at the shop said really there is no need for uniformity, as long as its not clashing!

I am doing a diamond 'looking' necklace and earrings. My bodice has pearls and a few crystals on it.

Jess,

My top has little pearls all over (more like little pearly beads) and I am incorporating pearls into my jewerly...my earrings will somewhat look like in this pic and my bracelet will be made out of a few strands of pearls...also my shoes will be very detailed with pearls and beads etc...but thats bc the bottom part of my dress is pretty simple.

My dress has lace and seed pearls on it...and I'm wearing diamonds...so no, you don't have to wear pearls....

My dress has lace and pearls but I don't personally like pearl jewelry so I plan on going with diamonds or crystal. I think as long as it coordinates, it does not HAVE to be pearls.
