when to schedule hair and makeup trial?

i want to get my first trial done this may but i'm afraid they might think i'm jumping the gun and doing this too early. i honestly have no clue how i want my hair - up, down, half up half down etc. so i just want to get some ideas on what looks better on me. when are u girls scheduling yours?

I am waiting a bit. I have a few people in mind that I am going to try, but I want to get my dress first and an idea of what head piece I am going to wear.

I did my first hair & makeup trial this weekend. I'll be doing 2 more, just to be on the safe side. I want to try one all down, and one half up and half down. Both styles with different makeup styles as well, this way I can choose which one I like best. I'm leaving myself plenty of time to decide. If that makes any sense!! I already have my dress, headpiece, and veil, etc so I have an idea of the appropriate styles that will go with my dress.

i agree - im gonna wait until I get my headpiece, and dress first. But, I have an idea of what I want, and that I'm def gonna have my hair all up.

i dont think its too early if you want to try different styles.....im personally waiting a while but i see many girls on here have gone already.....good luck!

I won't do it until I have my veil and headpiece, if I use one.. probably later this year.. and I will probably do 2, one up and one half up/down.. depends on what my dress looks like

the earlier the better. i contact a liw make up artist 1 year before my date and she was already booked

I have a make-up trial scheduled for Monday, 2/27.

It's def. too early for me! I think a resonable time is 6 months before. So I'll start around October, getting ideas from diff. websites have helped me a lot. I've compiled a bunch of great pics o my binder!

I have been having trials(reg. hair styles) for the past two months... I will try out MU over the summer.
