How many childern are you planning to have?

How many and how long after the wedding are you going to start trying?

Well.. I've already got , so I wouldn't mind , but not for another five years or so.

Re: How many childern are you planning to have?

We hope between 2 or 3, but I would feel blessed just having one! We won't start trying right away, maybe a year or more after the wedding.

Re: How many childern are you planning to have?

We're hoping for 2 - we won't start until we have a house to raise them though, so based on LI prices, about another 7 or 10 years! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!

Re: How many childern are you planning to have?

i always said that i wanted to adopt but it is very very expensive and time consuming - i have two family members who had adopted children and they each spent over 20,000. so I think financially we would not be able to do that

Re: How many childern are you planning to have?

FH already has 2, Boy whose 12, girl whose 7.

We are planning on having 2 more hopefully! Unfortunately, we have to go through in-vitro which is EXTREMELY expensive! In the end though, so very worth it!!!! So, we will be going through all the testing and everything right after the honeymoon. We've already done some testing and paperwork. I hope it all goes well. Who knows, I already have an insta-family....I may just have another.....we might end up with twins!

Re: How many childern are you planning to have?

I'd love to have twins, to it all done in one shot...then again maybe not.

I really do hope everything goes well with you in-vitro. Best of luck!

I wanted to adopt kids at one point, but then I had my own. I think it's best to adopt first, 'cause then the adopted childern won't feel like they don't fit in or like they aren't a part of the family. They were there first. But it also is very expensive, you know they complain they need people to adopt childern, but yet they make so hard for those that do want to. If they made it easier I'd bet there would be a lot less childern in homes.

Also, I have three adopted cousin (2 girls and a boy- real siblings) My aunt had to give one of the girls back, because she kept calling the cops and CPS on my Aunt and Uncle when they weren't doing anything to her. She also got into a lot of trouble at school and with the cops, she just wasn't happy and didn't want to be with them. She ended up going back into a home, I have no idea where she is now. I don't even think my other adopted cousins know where she is.
