Storing the wedding dress before the wedding?

Storing the wedding dress before the wedding?
My friend got her wedding dress as a sample off-the-rack a month ago, but her wedding isn't until August 2006.Someone told her that if she keeps it in the clothing bag it came in that it may turn colors and that if she keeps it out of the bag, it will get dirty.
How is she supposed to store it until August without it getting dirty or possibly changing colors?

Tell her to wrap in in a white sheet with safety pins to keep it closed. This is what I did.

If she did that, does she still keep it in the bag and hang it in the closet?

Wrap it in the white sheet and put it back in the garment bag and zip it back up but just leave the zip open a little bit at the top.

it will be fine. I've had mine since september, keep it in the garmet bag opened a little, in a closet

No bag needed, tell her to just keep it on the hanger, wrap a white sheet around it and pin it closed, that is it
