LAZY so I am asking u girls
I am inviting about 240 people... how many invites should I order. ( I am no where near my list otherwise I'd count it)
(Everyone is invited with a guest)

I'd say 150 just to play it safe.

It's supposed to be half your guest list. So 175 for close to 240.Also, did you do the list yet? This will help you determing how many invites will you need. Are there a lot of singles?

What I would do is figure out how many couples are invited and then how many single people are invited. Then add about 25 to that #.

If there are absolutely no people invited by themselves then you could safely do 120 (1 per couple)I would definitely count though, it could save you $$$. I was going to order 150 to be safe , but after counting, I only need 125 (we have a few families that are invited) and I saved over $100.

Re: LAZY so I am asking u girls
150 would definitely give you more than enough extras... you will probably want extras for yourself---- one to frame, a few for a scrapbook, an extra or two for your parents, etc. I would count though and order only what you need (including those few extras as it could save you a lot of money. If you have to order extra of anything, it should be envelopes as it's quite common to make mistakes when you're addressing them if you're handwriting or doing calligraphy on the envelopes.GOOD LUCK!
