Vday florist delivery vent Update on page 2 FH got full refund

I'm going to be respectful of ron and liz and not post the info on who it was through, but I had to vent so if you want info FM me.

Today FH ordered me flowers for valentines day. It was supposed to be a surprise. well around 330 the delivery guy calls me saying he doesnt know what building and room i'm in(meanwhile when i called FH later to tell him what happened he told me he did specify it) anyways so the guy tells me he's on his way and if he cant find it he'll call me again.

an hour and half goes by and nothing, and its almost time to leave work. so i call trhe florist and the lady says she'll try to get a hold of the delivery guy, 30 minutes go by still nothing so i call again and this b**** gives me such attitude and i was calm on the phone. conversation went like this

Me-i have to leave work no one will be here can you just refund the amount he paid?
Her-the day isnt over yet theyll get there when they get there
Me-but i won't be here
Her-then someone else will sign for them
me-but i'm one of the last ones here right now there wont be anyone here and it defeats the purpose of vday delivery.
her-too bad its not my problem
me-excuse me?
her-its not my problem i dont care if youre not there they will be delivered anyway too bad. and then hangs up.

best part was at 745pm i had just finished having a great romantic dinner with FH and the delivery guy calls and says hi i'm sry for the delay what building are u in again i'll be there soon i'm like um i left hours ago didnt your Boss call you and let you know what kind o attitude she gave me etc. hes like oh i'm sry i didnt know i'm like well regardless its almost 8pm hes like can i deliver them to wherever u are at now. i told him no you cant i'm out trying to enjoy whatever i have left of vday that your co. tried to ruin. and then i aked him what happens to the flowers he's like theyll go back to the shop. i swear people are such idiots

i was so pissed, but i remained calm and when FH had picked me up and called his credit card company to dispute the charge and tried calling the website directly even though its other forist locations associated with it but there was no way i was about to call that B**** back and let her upset me even more. FH is going to call the website again tomorrow and fill them in on what happened. i cant believe some people have a lot of nerve.

ETA: FH gave me the order info because I wanted to try to call again tonight still cant get throug, but I looked it up online and my building and room are on there!!!! even though the ***** on the phone and delivery guy told me they weren't

I'm fine with not getting them FH cheered me up with having roses and an i love you balloon in the car for me.. i just couldnt believe the attitude the woman gave me.

yes the rest of the night was great FH took me out for a romantic dinner and then out for coffee and dessert. he got me bag full of goodies and the best was a stuffed M&M because he calls me his lil M&M because that will be my initials when we are married.

that stinks!! that happened to my dad last year...he ordered them to be delivered and they messed up the order. sometimes flower shops just take in all kinds of orders for the moolah and don't care.

that b*tch should be slapped!

I didn't get my flowers either. My FH ordered them to be delivered to work but they never showed. He is going to call in the morning. We had a nice evening anyway.

first these florists jack up the prices bc its VDAY and then they take 20 hrs to deliver the flowers?!?!? thats messed up! Im soo sorry that happened to you :

I had a similar incident but not over a V-day delivery. I had to order a funeral arrangement since my friend lost her husband. It's from my committee at my building so I wanted the names on the card. I called to add a name to the card (a woman wanted to chip in who had not heard about the gift) and the woman who answered the phone at Midtown Florist in Brooklyn was just NASTY She said that she was too busy to take care of me and said 'It's Valentine's Day!' I told her that I know it's Valentine's Day and 'But my friend's husband DIED so can you please add a name to the card' She did pull up my order and edited the card but she was so nasty that I am definitely writing them a letter

that s*cks! sorry the customer service was rude. you still had a great evening so look at it that way. that place better make up for it with an extra large bouquet!!!

If she was close enough, I would have drove there to see her in person, and see if her mouth spoke to me the same way in person as over the phone! Glad you enjoyed the rest of your day.
