Is the 'Wedding Survival Party' at Fortunoffs worth it?

Fh and I were thinking of going there to finish the registry for the Engagement Party and we figured that would be a good time to go and we can go to the party also, has anyone gone to one?

YES...we won a honeymoon suite at the Wingate and got a 25 gift card for putting 1,000 on our registry...I've been to 2 of them

the competitions were incentive for my fi to come register. plus, it definitely made registering fun.

the next one in westbury is March 19th, I just RSVP's this morning. There is a link on this site to go to their website to find out the details, I told FI about the games and finally he has agreed to come!Yeah!!

I went about 3 weeks ago and it is worth it. They have awesome prizes!!!! We too won a bottle of wine from the Dj that was showcasing there!!! You also get free breakfast lunch mimosa and bloody marys!

Sounds like they have started doing a better job I went to the first one (I don't even remember when it was months ago)and it was totally unorganized, half the people who were working there wanted nothing to do with it and kept walking away from their stations. Only a few people running the stations were in good spirits.

My Fi and I went. We didn't win anything, but we had soooo much fun. We laughed the whole time. We thought we had the sangria making contest in the bag, but aparently someone made one in less than 7 seconds. go figure. We are going again on the 19th. Definately!!!! It is a day of fun and games and the chance to win HUGE prizes. We have never laughed so hard.
