POLL: Let's say cost isn't an issue, what would you do

So originally I had no opinions on colored linens, etc....I was just going to go with the white tablecloths and napkins that Capitale provides. We are having alternating high and low centerpieces on the tables, in white. The high centerpieces will be really tall white Calla Lillys and the low centerpieces will be 3 small arrangements of calla lillys, tulips, etc.

Capitale has very high ceilings and has ornate decorations inside.....it is very dark, so I thought the white tables and white centerpieces would brighten everything up.

Well, my FMIL asked me what I'm going to do to bring color to the table. I hadn't really thought of doing anything special, but I guess I could do red tablecloths (my theme is red) with the white centerpieces...

Should I even bother - will it make that much of a difference?

I honestly don't think it will make a difference. I think the white on white can be beautiful.

I think white on white is elegant, epsecially if you say the room is dark, I wouldnt do the red tablecloths.

With what you're describing I think the white on white would look better.

White on white is the ULTIMATE in formal affairs. I have done events at your wedding venue and trust me it will look AMAZING. Also speak to your contact and see if they a can pin spot some of the table too.

We just decided that we're going to keep the white tablecloths and do the pin lighting instead...the pin lighting is actually MORE expensive, but at this point it's one or the other and I think the lighting is important. Thanks for your advice!
